Kilpatrick Hills; 18 February 2024

Finally made a quick jaunt with a friend to these pretty hills between Glasgow and the Highlands. The steep approach up into the hills provided great views of the Firth of Clyde and Dumbarton before turning into rolling uplands. We made our way through the rolling hills to the picturesque Loch Humphrey, then made our way over to the Greenside Reservoir. From there we ascended to The Slacks, one of the highest points in the Kilpatrick Hills. From this hilltop we were treated to a great panorama of Glasgow, the Furth of Clyde and the rest of the Kilpatrick Hills.
